MyKart Drivers Series Round 3!

This is the lowest turnout ever I have ever seen in a Mykart race, around 18 racers!

And I got mixed up again with the grouping system, this time round I was chucked into group B, and they gave me kart #5.

Bah I give up on finding out how they group people.

Kart #5 has the best seat among all the karts at CityKarting, mainly because my fat ass can sit comfortably in it.

But as usual, the engine is soooo weak, and the feeling when you are on the accelerator is akin to a rooster cock-a-doodling while having its throat choked. Or again, it can be my extra fat around my waist. Just saying.

Too add icing to the cake, mother nature decided to join in the fun, wetting the entire circuit at the night before the race.

The track is semi wet, while some part of the track may appear deceivingly dry but the kart will loose traction mysteriously once you drive across that part. It may be a case of spilled oil on the track.

but it was FUN I TELL YOU!!!! Managed to execute some drifts around the corners and the rest were a bad case of understeer.

So I managed to squeeze a measly 6th fastest time from my first qualifying

For the second qualifying session I was given kart # 19.

Kart #19 has the best handling out of all the 80cc karts I have driven there, mainly because of the proper camber setting. Most of the time I am able to steer the kart to its grip threshold, with a little hint of good understeer and the feeling is just good around the corners. Stable.

But the engine is much slower than #5. Which defeats the purpose of climbing up the leaderboard.

I managed 7th this time. Mehhhh.

With the track drying up, things were looking good for the main race. I got the chance to choose a fairly good kart, kart #13. Well thats what I thought initially.

Handling wise, Kart #13 is balanced, but fails at engine performance. Or it could just be my extra fat. Yes I think it is time to loose weight.

Nothing extraordinary happened during the race, except one part when a girl in front of me understeered and spun out. I quickly followed suit in a similar fashion, but I managed to steer out from t boning her (lol that sounds wrong) and I ended up in a gasoline-water puddle.

Drove the absolute fish I could, but I can only settle with 15th. FML.

With that, I am dangerously close to lose my K3-70 lead;

A point is all I have. Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!

Must drive more efficiently!!!!!!!!!!!!

Till then!
